This school year the freshmen were given a great opportunity to interact with workshops through Elevate Education. On Friday, January 24, students were educated on time management.

During freshmen English classes, students were given a 45-minute workshop led by an Elevate Education staff member on helpful topics for school. There were packets made for the students to help them manage time and avoid procrastination.

One presenter from Mercyhurst came in to educate the students. There are many more great things to be learned, and it’s so convenient that it could be taught right here from school.

There are three more Elevate workshops that will be presented on February 21, March 21, and April 11. In those presentations they will learn home study hacks, motivation and goal setting, and stress management.

Some students who participated in the workshops were asked how it went. They said that it was very helpful and they ended up learning a lot. It is safe to say the workshop was very successful for the students.
