Cameron Ricketts is a senior captain on the Corry basketball team. He has been playing basketball for 10 years now. Cameron has spent countless hours training and improving his skills. His leadership on and off the court is very inspiring. Unfortunately, this is his last year ever playing basketball.
Cameron’s position on the court is center. He has worn #30 eight out of his 10 years playing. Cameron was asked what his thoughts are on it being his last season playing and what he predicts about this season. He said, “It has been a long journey, but I am excited to be a leader for my final season. I think this season will go really well as long as everyone pushes themselves.”
If Cameron had one piece of advice for upcoming players it would be, “The success in basketball comes from the effort you put into it every day.”
When Cameron was asked who he wanted to thank for encouraging him every year he replied, “Coach Bailey and especially my mom and dad.”
