Sunday night the Minnesota Timberwolves beat the Denver Nuggets. By winning they advance to the Western Conference finals, and if they win they will move on to the NBA finals. The Timberwolves beat the Nuggets in game seven, with the winner moving on as it was tied 3-3.
The Timberwolves started off the game poorly, going to down-by-20 at one point. But they rallied together and came back to win the game 98 – 90. Anthony Edwards had 16 points and Jaden McDaniels had 23 points. Nikola Jokic had 34 points and Jamal Murry had 35 points.
The Timberwolves shot 31/79 with a field goal percentage of 39.2%. The Nuggets shot 34/83 with a field goal percentage of 41%. Last year the Nuggets knocked the Timberwolves out of the playoffs and went on to win the Finals.
This year, it was the Timberwolves who knocked out the Nuggets, so who knows? We might see the Timberwolves in the finals this year.
