Yesterday at Corry we acknowledged Children’s Grief Awareness Day. This is designed to help us all become more aware of grieving children. This day is an opportunity to make sure the grieving children get the support they need.
All throughout the halls today, therapy support dogs have been walking around to have students pet them to brighten their days. For support, teachers, students, and faculty were supposed to wear blue, and if you did there was a support table set up at lunch. All you had to do was write a positive message.
We should always support grieving children such as your friends, siblings, or cousins. Always check up on people and how they are doing. Do a positive thing to make someone else’s day better.
