Monday, March 2, 2026, marked the first day of spring sports for the 2025/2026 school year as Corry’s track, baseball, and softball teams’ seasons officially started.
As the season unfolds, one thing is certain: spring sports are officially back. The first day may be filled with conditioning drills and early-season rust, but it also carried hope.
The baseball team opened its first week with intense practices focused on fundamentals. Our baseball head coach is Jake Cirigliano. March 11, 2026, marks their first scrimmage of the season against Eisenhower at home. Three seniors, Kadmyn Moon, Tucker Jackson, and Wyatt Swan, will be honored this baseball season.
Corry’s softball head coach is Allison Williams. With games approaching, the team is focused on building momentum and confidence. Softball has their first game of the season on March 18, 2026, at home. This softball season, Corry will be honoring four seniors: Mahra Goodwill, Chesney Hodak, Sydney Mineo, and Rachel Moats.
Unlike other sports, track athletes compete in a wide range of events, from sprints and distance races to jumps and throws. They have a total of 11 home games and 10 away games. Track, the last spring sport, is coached by Travis Carey and Jody Fox. Track co-ed has a total of six meets, four away and two home. They also have a few invites mixed in, the top two-three in each event get invited to these invites.
