In what many NFL fans would claim was the game of the year, the Pittsburgh Steelers defeated the Baltimore Ravens in their last regular-season game to claim a spot in the playoffs and win the AFC North division.
While the Steelers started slow on offense, their second half showed their offensive strength when they matched the Ravens touchdown for touchdown. The Steelers were missing their number one receiver, D.K. Metcalf, but were able to compensate by throwing a touchdown to Calvin Austin and also run one in with their top running back Jaylen Warren.
Throughout the entire game, Aaron Rodgers threw 294 yards and no interceptions. The Steelers running backs of Kenneth Gainwell and Jaylen Warren rushed for 122 yards, and no fumbles.
The Steelers on a go-ahead touchdown saw Chris Boswell miss an extra point attempt, which had the Steelers leading the Ravens by 2 points with only 55 seconds left. After a lengthy kick return by the Ravens and 3 completed passes, with only 2 seconds left, the Ravens had a chance to win the game with a field goal. Rookie Tyler Loop missed the 44 yard field goal as time expired.
The Steelers became the division champions and earned the number 4 seed in the AFC playoffs.
