The Corry baseball team defeated the Northeast Grape Pickers on Wednesday, April 23, with the score being 2-0.
I asked some of the Beavers on their thoughts on the game, and they said “Even though we only scored two runs, it was an amazing team win.”
Then I asked if the Grape Pickers had any stand out players, and was informed that their starting pitcher has a full ride scholarship to play baseball at the Penn State University.
With that being said, I think the Beavers should be even more proud of their shutout win against Northeast.
