On Thursday, the Corry Girls Softball Team run-ruled the Girard Girls Softball Team. The game ended in the fifth inning with Corry taking a 12-0 lead. Only varsity played that night, JV did not play.
There were a few highlights of the night. Sadye Dyne pitched a no hitter, and also hit a home run. Mahra Goodwill hit an in-park home run, while all the bases were loaded.
The Corry Girls Softball Team is undefeated and first within their region. They have a 6-0 record in the region. The next home game is May 1, they will be going against the North East. Varsity plays at 4:30.
