This past Wednesday the Corry Beavers girls softball team had their home opener against the Fort LeBeouf Bison. The varsity game started at 4 p.m., and JV followed.

At the top of the first inning, the Beavers were on defense and the Bison were at bat. By the end of the first inning, the Bison led 2-0 on the Beavers. Neither team scored a run in the second inning, so the score still stood at 2-0, with the Bison winning. Lady Beavers have another game on Friday the 21st, home against Iroquois.
