The Four Nations finals game was the most watched hockey game in decades, pulling in 9.3 million viewers across the world. In the finals was USA and Canada. These two teams faced off against each other earlier in the tournament.
USA won the first time they played each other with the score being 3-1. There were three fights within the first nine seconds of the game. The first team to score was Canada with Conner McDavid scoring for them in the first period. After that first goal for Canada it was all USA the rest of the night, with Dylan Larkin scoring a goal and Jake Guentzel scoring two.
For the final game, it was a nail-biter till the end. Canada once again was the first team to score with Nathan MacKinnon scoring early in the first period. Then Brady Tkachuk tied the game up with a goal, and Jake Sanders made the game leading goal. At the end of the second period, Sam Bennett scored a goal to tie things back up.
No goals were scored in the third period, and in overtime Conner McDavid put one in the back of the net for Canada to win it all.
