Saturday, October 26, the High School Cross Country team traveled to Titusville for their District race at the Ed Myers Complex.
Both boys and girls were competing in the AA races, each facing 17 other teams. Those other teams being; Grove City, Warren, Meadville, Oil City, General McLane, North East, Harbor Creek, Girard, Hickory, Fort Lebouf, Cathederal Prep, Sharon, Franklin, Slippery Rock, Titusville, Conneaut and Fairview.
The Beavers could only take their top seven runners for both races. The girls took: Senior Jordan Fox, Senior Ariel Knapp, Senior Teryn Bailey, Junior Shay Linden Freshman Finley Fourspring, Freshman Maddie Leofsky, and Freshman Makenna Williams. The Lady Beavers brought Junior Farrah Fourspring as their alternate runner. The seven boys taken were: Senior Lewis (Roo) Hellyer, Senior Judah Zinz, Junior Ethan Behm, Sophomore Paxton Zinz, Sophomore Bryce Chelton, Sophomore Nick Scouten, and Sophomore Thomas Eccles, along with Senior Noah West as their alternate runner.
Both boys and girls got 10 out of 18. The boys average time being 17:53, and the girls average time being 21:50. The individual times being:
