Have you ever wondered what Key Club is and who runs it? Well I have got answers for you.
Mrs. Braswell is the director of Key Club. So I decided to ask her questions about Key Club about what they do and some fun facts about the club too.
Mrs. Braswell has been running Key Club since 2007. She decided to help run the club because when her kids were little she wanted something fun to do with them but rewarding at the end of the day. Since she has been running Key Club for a little bit she is very good at running it and always knows where help is needed in the community.
I wanted to ask her to explain Key Club in her terms. She said it is a very good club to join because it helps you give back to your community. But it is also a way where students can become leaders in their community. She mentioned that the president is Luke Hurd, the vice president is Matthew Gardner, and the secretary is Charly Amburgy.
Some examples of events they have helped run in the past are decorating the gazebo in the Corry park at Christmas time, and passing out hats and gloves. Key Club also helped run a dwarfism walk, they have ran car washes, and many more events.
