This week is a very exciting week for Corry athletes. There are three athletes nominated for honors: Mason Savitz, Paxton Zinz, and Jordan Fox.
Senior Mason Savitz is up for “Football Player of the Week.”
Sophomore Paxton Zinz is up for “Male Athlete of the Week” and Senior Jordan Fox is up for “Female Athlete of the Week.”
Both Paxton and Jordan are part of the Corry Cross Country team, Jordan being a captain of the girls team. Paxton is an incredible runner for the boys team.
In addition, Junior Blake Cook is nominated for a state-wide recognition as a MaxPreps Pennsylvania High School Athlete of the Week.
Voting ended Wednesday, October 9, and the winners will be announced early next week. These athletes work very hard and deserve all of the recognition they are now receiving.
