Each year, so many unique video games come out that make the gaming world more fun. From abandoned pizzerias to fantasy worlds of dragons, there is no doubt that VR games are definitely some of the most fun. VR has endless possibilities, where you can explore different worlds and dimensions, so today I have gone on my own journey through some of these worlds, and hand-selected the best games that are definitely worth playing.
- “Among Us VR”
Kicking off our list, we have a game that will leave you saying, “The imposter is sus.” This game is none other than, “Among Us VR.” This online chat game not only allows the players to complete their tasks and secure victory, but also allows them to meet other people worldwide. I enjoy playing this, especially with my friends. Meeting other people from all over the world definitely makes this game so much better. This is definitely better than the original Among Us game (on PC and mobile).
- “Eye of the Temple”
In the number nine spot is an interactive puzzle game. “Eye of the Temple” takes the player on a journey through the temple’s many rooms and challenges, testing the player with challenges ranging from balance to agility, and lots of patience to unlocking the secrets of the legend of the eye. Playing this game definitely makes me feel like I am in the temple, everything feeling so real. It is definitely a very fun game, especially with the crawling beetles that make this game whole different experience.
- “Walkabout Mini Golf”
Next, I have selected a game that involves aim skills. The game I thought best fit this spot is, “Walkabout Mini Golf.” From the Quixote Valley to the Seagull Stacks, this game is filled with many unique courses, each offering their own challenges. This game is very frustrating at times, but that makes it worth playing.
- “No More Rainbows”
Killing it in the seventh spot, we have “No More Rainbows.” In this game, you play as a Bowser (From “Mario”) like monster and your goal is to beat every level, eliminating the innocents who stand in your way of victory. Who knew a game that literally is supposed to make the player rage could be so fun?
- “NoClip VR”
This endlessly fun popular VR game takes the number six on our list with of course, the mazes of the Backrooms. This free roam horror game involves skill and speed. I always have fun trying to beat this horror escape room. This is no doubt one of the scariest but fun horror games that exist on the VR platform.
- “Moss VR”
Coming in at the number five spot is a game that is more on the fantasy side. This is one of my all time favorites, because the player gets to help guide a little mouse named Quill through a puzzling fantasy world, telling an incredibly beautiful story line while avoiding the dangers and protecting little Quill, of course.
- “Gorilla Tag”
In the number four spot is a game that has taken the internet by storm. This game, of course, is none other than “Gorilla Tag” itself. When I first heard of this, I thought I would hate it, but then it grew on me for many reasons. First off, who doesn’t like a game where you literally tag other players, as a gorilla?!? It’s also an immersive free-roam game filled with several expansion worlds that involve not only obstacle courses, but climbing walls, balloon fights, vines, and maps varying from the caves to the cities. I highly recommend this, because honestly, the possibilities of this game are endless, and you can definitely have a lot of fun, especially if you play with friends.
- “Hyper Dash”
Now, in the top three, we have a game that not only involves skill, but also one that takes patience. Yep, if you guessed “Hyper Dash,” you would be correct. In this game, you can play as the commander of your army (my favorite role) or the target trying to escape the opposing team. Who will you form alliances with, and who will you betray? The choice is yours.
- “Five Nights at Freddy’s Help Wanted”
Coming in at a close horrifyingly fun second place, I chose both “Help Wanted” (1 and 2) VR games. (I couldn’t choose just one, because they are both so good.) This depiction of the original “Five Nights At Freddy’s” is a set of mini games that you (the employee and and maybe your friends) must complete in order to successfully finish your night shift job at the of “Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza Place,” and of course, try to make it out alive. When playing (whether it’s with friends or not), trying to finish my night shifts is always a fun experience.
- “Beat Saber”
We’re slashing the beats with this one: that’s right, coming in at number one, we have “Beat Saber.” This fun, music style game is not only addicting with the campaign levels and type of play, but it’s also extremely fun against friends. You can definitely get lost in the VR world playing this game, and no matter how often you play, you will definitely never ever get bored of it.
