What’s the first thing you think about when someone says pizza? Cheese? Pepperoni? Certainly not pineapple. I don’t get why people think that pineapple on pizza is so good. Pineapple is sweet and juicy; it’s not meant to be put on something that is warm and cheesy.
Think about a strawberry. Would a sweet strawberry be good on a tomato sauce, cheese, pepperoni pizza? NO! It would not, neither is pineapple. The “Hawaiian Pizza” should stay in Hawaii.
Other toppings like sausage, bacon, banana peppers, and jalapenos are way better toppings than pineapple. Pizza is not meant to have pineapple on it, in my opinion. I just think the combo is weird and I just don’t think that it belongs on pizza.
