Last night, December 19, the Beavers fought hard for the 68-27 win over the Seneca Bobcats. This was a very exciting match between the Beavers and their opponent.
This highly anticipated match is always a good game every year when the Beavers play them. Rylan Smith with seven three-pointers, and Markus Lambert with 15 points in the first half, really set the mood for the game. The Beavers started off very slowly, down by two in the first quarter, but that quickly changed. After the first, Coach Tyler Bailey told the Beavers to shoot with more confidence, and that’s what they did. From being down by two to going up 17, the mood of the game was really set.
At the half, Bailey informed his players to keep playing like they were, and to keep taking good shots with confidence. That is exactly what the Beavers did, with Smith hitting shot after shot, giving the team an even greater lead.
Making the shots fall last night was a big factor in the win last night. The Beavers will be tested this Thursday with a game against General McLane.
