Starting in 2016, the well-known music streaming app Spotify has been pumping out their yearly Spotify Wrapped. Wrapped shows users who their most listened to artists, songs and playlists are. This annual event has music fans all over the world “wrapped” up in sharing their favorite artists.

Spotify gave people their personalities based off their music this year. With characters like Alchemist, Cyclops, Time Traveler and Vampire, fans were excited to see how their music taste compared and contrasted to their friends and other around them. The most common personality is Vampire, which could be because of artist such as Yeat, Lucki and Ken Karson, who are trending this year

Competitors like Apple Music participate in similar traditions, so no music fan is left out. Although Apple Music is less used, those who do use it appreciate being included in the fun traditions at the end of the year.

This year’s Wrapped has everyone raving over music everywhere.
