We’re closing in on Halloween once again… The time of year where people go around looking to get some free candy even though they could buy all the candy for way cheaper than the amount they spent on their Halloween costumes. “Why?” You may ask. Well, because of tradition. I went all around the entire school, looking for your Halloween/ fall traditions in this survey, to see what everybody likes. What’s your favorite Halloween tradition??
Blake Cook – church’s soup dinner
Levi Merrill – carving pumpkins
Levi Ehrhart – haunted houses
Ms. Seggi – carving pumpkins
Aaron Davis – watching Halloween movies
Chris Bemis – egging houses
Ms. Maas – passing out candy
Ethan Behm – going to Port Farms
Noah Fisher – hay rides
Mr. Potocki – watching his children get (trade) candy
Colton Allan – trick or treating
Preston Adams – getting pumpkin spice coffee
Gavin Olgny – watching football
Nolan White – hunting
Jeremy Ornsbee – carving pumpkins
Grady Mosher – trick or treating
Mr. Carney – carving pumpkins
Mr. Brumagin – archery hunting
Logan Grantham – scaring people
Mr. Willis – archery hunting
Roman Cafferlin – trick or treating
Mr. Hogue – watching scary movies
Mr. Getty – going on road trips
Sometimes it’s interesting to hear about all the traditions people have at different times of the year. Maybe it will give you an idea on how to spend this holiday… maybe not… but anyway, I hope you enjoy doing your favorite traditions this fall season. Happy Halloween!
(Special thanks to all of the students and teachers who participated in this survey.)
