Top 10 Halloween movies

Top+10+Halloween+movies

The spooky season is here, which means the widely loved holiday Halloween is quickly approaching. For years there have been movies made just to highlight the holiday, which most enjoy. There is a huge controversy on which  Halloween movie is the best. Here are my top ten most loved Halloween movies…

10. “Monster House” This movie is a 2006 film that leads three kids on trail to defeat the monstrous house filled with anger from the previous house owner’s souls. This film is filled with thrillers that are the perfect balance for family movie nights.

9. “Addams Family” A classic that has been remade over the years, with different popular spin-offs. This movie captures the iconic idea of a creepy and haunted outcast family.

8. “Ghostbusters” A ghost catching business that saves the day by stopping the ghost. Watching this movie brings a sense of humor to the creepy Halloween season.

7. “Haunted Mansion” The comedy in this film was light-hearted and displayed a lot of good quality throughout. It is a movie that attracts the viewers attention.

6. “Beetlejuice” An original movie that depicts a family moving into a house where the previous owners still reside and haunt and getting greeted by the one and only infamous Beetlejuice. The movie is an encapsulating and exciting film that I enjoy watching yearly.

5. “Hubie Halloween” This comedy starring Adam Sandler is a more recent Halloween film, yet I firmly believe it should be added to the list because of all of the hilarious moments. This movie had a great combination of scary and funny while still impacting people that watch.

4. “Goosebumps” It is a movie series that shows teenagers catching the monsters that are escaping out of their books. I really enjoy this movie because it replicates the Goosebumps book collection closely and it is cool to see a visual of what I read.

3. “Coraline” This movie is about a girl moving into a new apartment and encountering a new world with a dangerous Other Mother. I love this movie and watch it throughout the year, even when it is not around the spooky season. However, I believe this is a great Halloween movie that is creepy and fits in with the season perfectly.

2. “Hocus Pocus” A movie about three witches waiting to get young and terrorizing the town on Halloween night. This movie is timeless and without a doubt a top Halloween movie. A cinematic masterpiece to say the least.

1. “Corpse Bride” A man accidentally marries a corpse bride while practicing his vows in the dark woods. I find this movie to be eye-opening and great entertainment. The movie is number one for me because it can be watched continuously, and I would never be bored of it.
