On Friday, May 5, CHS  held their first ever Decision Day Assembly for students 9-12. It was held in the East Gym and it started at 1:30 p.m.

The assembly was to celebrate the decisions that this year’s seniors have made for their future out of High School. The teachers all wore their clothing items that showed what college they attended, and if they were in any branch of the military they wore clothing that represented that.

They presented certificates to all the students who have confirmed their plans in the following categories: military, full-time employment, or post-secondary education. The other recognition was for students planning to continue athletics in college, and they participated in an official signing.

Mr. Passenger stated, “We are excited to honor the accomplishments of the class of 2023, and hope to encourage the underclassmen to set goals and strive to reach them.”
