The 2023 Grammy awards took place on February 5, making this the 65th Annual Ceremony. The Grammy Awards is the biggest event of the year for everyone in the music industry, with over 12 million people watching from all around the world. Anxiously waiting to see what talented individuals will take home every award. There were also many performances throughout the night by several talented artists such as DJ Khalid, Harry Styles, Lizzo and several others.

Lizzo took home the “Record of the Year” award with her single  “About Damn Time.”

Harry Styles took home the “Album of the Year” with “Harry’s House.”

Bonnie Raitt won the “Song of the Year” award with “Just Like That.”

Samara Joy won the “Best New Artist” Award.

Harry Styles also won the “Best Pop Vocal Album” with “Harry’s House.”

Sam Smith and Kim Petras won the “Best Pop Duo/ Group Performance” Award with “Unholy.”

Adele won the “Best Pop Solo Performance” with her single “Easy On Me.”

Beyonce won the “Best Dance/Electronic Music Album” award with her album “RENAISSANCE.”

Beyonce also won the “Best Dance/Electronic Recording” with her song “Break My Soul.”

Brandi Carlile, Phil Hanseroth & Tim Hanseroth, songwriters (Brandi Carlile) won the “Best Rock Song” award with ” Broken Horses.”

Ozzy Osbourne won the “Best Rock Album” with his album “Patient Number 9.”

Wet Leg won the “Best Alternative Music Album” award with their album “Wet Leg.”

Muni Long won the “Nest R&B Performance” with “Hrs & Hrs.”

“CUFF IT”  Denisia “Blu June” Andrews, Beyoncé, Mary Christine Brockert, Brittany “Chi” Coney, Terius “The-Dream” Gesteelde-Diamant, Morten Ristorp, Nile Rodgers & Raphael Saadiq, songwriters (Beyoncé) won  the “Best R&B Song” award.

Kendrick Lamar won the “Best Rap Performance” with “The Heart Part 5.”  

Jake Kosich, Johnny Kosich, Kendrick Lamar, & Matt Schaeffer, songwriters (Kendrick Lamar) won the “Best Rap Song” with “The Heart Part 5.”

Kendrick Lamar also won “Best Rap Album” with “Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers.”

Willie Nelson won “Best Country Solo Performance”  “Live Forever.”

Matt Rogers & Ben Stennis, songwriters (Cody Johnson)  won “Best Country Song” with “Til You Can’t.”

Willie Nelson also won “Bets Country Album” with “A Beautiful Time.”

Samara Joy won the “Best Jazz Vocal Album” with “Linger Awhile.”

Beyonce has also beaten the record for the most Grammys ever won, now having 29 Grammys throughout her career.

Along with many other talented artists who won many other awards.
