New Year, a poem

Jenna Martin, Editor

Finally the ball drops

And the clock strikes midnight

The fireworks shoot from the rooftops

As the New Year shines bright

Everyone allows the celebration to take over

Glasses get passed across the room

Everyone’s cheer sprouting allover

Before they’re everyday lives resume

The room is full of cheer

Confetti all over the floor

As we enter the newest year

Looking forward to what this year has in store
