One of my close friends, Gabe Jay Davis, was born on May 29, 2010. He grew up in Columbus, Pennsylvania, along with his two older siblings who are 20 and 23. Gabe continues to go to school in Corry, and has taken a liking for chess, video games, drawing, and anime. Gabe has grown a special liking for the game of “Among Us,” and kept it alive ever since it became less popular.
When Gabe grows up, he wishes to work in the IT department, and one day hope to get to Germany or Japan. When I asked him why he chose these places in particular, he replied with, “I’m a weeb, and I like Germany.”
When I questioned Gabe about how he would spend his vacation days, he said that he would spend them playing video games but specifically, “OSU! TAIKO.” Gabe also said that his dream vacation consists of playing video games.
Gabe’s favorite movie is “Castle in the Sky.” His favorite song is “CUBIBIBIBISM” and his favorite color is blue because “Electricity vibes.”
Gabe struggled to answer what his favorite emotion was, but eventually, he replied with,“Sob.” Very poetic and inspirational, Gabe.
When I had the chance to ask Gabe what his favorite quote is, he said, “That’s bold for you to say that!” Of all the classes in school. Gabe’s favorite class would have to be math, because “Knowing how to manipulate numbers is cool.”
When I asked Gabe what his favorite food is, he quickly responded with “Wraps.” When I asked him why it was wraps specifically, he told me “Because you can put anything in them.”
If Gabe could choose an animal that he felt best suited his personality, he would choose a cat, because according to him, “Sleep is my sustenance.” Such inspiring words, Gabe.
