My top 10 TV shows

I chose the TV show topic because I love finding any good show to binge watch whenever I get the chance. I love having sleepovers with my friends and starting a show with them, or watching them with my family. Here are some of my favorites, and I highly reccomend watching them!

10. Ginny & Georgia: I watched the first season of this show when I was in seventh grade, and then the second season in summer of 2025. The first season was pretty well done, but personally I thought it was a little cringe. The second season was better, and I ended up binge-watching it within two days. It’s a perfect teenage drama, but it just didn’t strike my interest as much as others did.

9. From: My sister, dad and I watched this show together last year. It was very thrilling, and every episode felt like we had no idea what was happening next. It’s about these residents who accidently drive into this town and can’t find a way out. Every night they struggle with these terrifying creatures. It was cool seeing how they would plan what to do each night, and how they were going to try to leave.

8. My Life With The Walter Boys: I watched the first season of this show when it first came out in late 2023. It was another teenage drama, and I watched it in a day. There are some parts that dive in deep about grief and finding yourself. The show also portrays family in a great way by expressing how it’s not just about blood, but it’s about finding people who have your back, even when things get messy.

7. Never Have I Ever: This was one of the first teenage dramas that I watched. It’s sort of like a high school comedy, but also a relatable story about identity and grief. The show is about Devi’s journey of trying to fit it, dealing with the loss of her dad, and being stuck in a love triangle. I found it very addicting to watch because it was so well put together, and I have rewatched it twice.

6. The 100: I watched this show with my dad and sister also around last year. It’s about how a bunch of teens get sent to a post-apocalyptic Earth to see if it’s livable again. What’s cool is that anyone can die at any time, so we were always at the edges of our seats. There were some crazy plot twists and character developments, too.

5. Manifest: This show is about how a plane disappears and then reappears five years later, with everyone on board not having aged a day and now experiencing these weird premonitions called “callings.” It’s a total mystery how they came back and what the callings mean, so it leads to a bunch of suspense. It’s a good mix of character drama, mystery, and sort of sci-fi. It kept us guessing at absolutely everything.

4. Umbrella Academy: This show is about these adopted superhero siblings with messed-up pasts who reunite after their adoptive father dies. They all have different unique powers, but they’re also super dysfunctional, which leads to lots of family drama while also trying to save the world from an upcoming apocalypse. I made this top 5 because there wasn’t a single boring episode or season, and we were so excited when the last season finally came out in August 2024.

3. Squid Games: This was definitely one of my favorite shows just because of how emotional it was. It’s about these people in serious debt who compete in deadly versions of kids games for a chance to win a huge amount of money. It’s a wild watch with tons of suspense, shocking twists, and more. What makes it so gripping is the emotional investment we got in the characters and the challenges they face.

2. Stranger Things: Stranger things is the perfect mix of sci-fi and horror, with supernatural monsters, kids navigating their friendships, and government conspiracies. What makes this show really stand out is the characters and their relationships. They all face incredible challenges together and never failed to work together as a perfect team. Throughout the seasons they build their relationships and even make new ones. There are so many suspenseful mysteries added into it too, with lots of adventures and thrilling battles. This is most definitely one of the best shows ever made.

1. The Summer I Turned Pretty: The Summer I Turned Pretty is such a powerful romantic series, and also so emotional. The main girl Belly spends her summers at Cousins Beach with her family and the Fisher brothers, Conrad and Jeremiah. She grows up loving Conrad, but then finds herself stuck in a love triangle with both of them. The dreamy summer setting, the love drama, and the focus on Belly’s journey is so appealing. It’s a perfect romance show, and I have rewatched all of the seasons five times. The first two seasons were out around 2022-2023. For the third season, one episode came out every Wednesday throughout the summer of 2025. My friends and I always had a blast staying up every Wednesday and watching each episode together. I have always loved this show and it will always be my favorite.
