This year is packed full of new movies set to be released. This is my top 10 most anticipated movies coming this year.
10. “Goat” – A movie about a young goat wanting to go pro in basketball but is too small but gets a chance to prove himself. Seems like a good family film.
9. “Project Hail Mary” – It centers on school teacher and former biologist Ryland Grace, who wakes up aboard a spacecraft afflicted with amnesia. Ryan Gosling stars and he is one of my favorite actors.
8. “Supergirl” – The next movie in the new DCU if it can continue to momentum from “Superman,” then it will be a hit.
7. “Super Mario Galaxy” – The first movie was so good and was such a fun watch, and this movie already looks like it can be just as good if not better.
6. “Disclosure Day” – A Steven Spielberg science-fiction horror movie based on an alien invasion sounds like a great time.
5. “The Mandalorian and Grogu” – Our first Star Wars movie in years, the show was amazing, so I can’t wait to watch this.
4. “Dune, Part 3” – The first two movies were amazing especially the second one being one of the top movies in 2024; I hope this movie can wrap up the trilogy in a good way.
3. “Spider-Man Brand New Day” – This is my childhood favorite– With “No Way Home” having such success and “Brand New Day” getting a new director im very excited to see what they have in store for this movie.
2. Avengers Doomsday – This movie has so much riding on it; with the Russo Brothers coming back to direct and RDJ playing Doctor Doom, this movie is going to determine a lot for the future of the MCU.
1. “The Odyssey” – Any Christopher Nolan movie is going to have tons of anticipation and excitement with it. But with the cast being this stacked and the story of the Odyssey being told so well-known, it’s going to be such a good movie and fun watch.
