Have you noticed that the NFL is getting more soft each year? I mean, not too long ago they banned hitting in the pro bowl. A game that is based on contact and hitting banned hitting in one of the biggest games of the year. Sure, the game right after that is the biggest game of the year, but if you make the Super Bowl you can’t even participate in the pro bowl. There should be no excuse why they can’t tackle each other.

The NFL needs to let them play football and they just need to worry about the viewers watching them play. Because at this rate, tackling in the NFL might be gone by 2040. Last season, they banned the hip drop tackle, which is dumb because it’s just a normal tackle. All you do is tackle a defender by wrapping up a runner from behind or the side by swiveling and dropping their hips to land on and trap the runner’s legs. It is just any normal tackle, so  it’s not dangerous.

Another thing the NFL needs to calm down on is fining players. These players just do a simple celebration and get hit with $15 thousand fines. A great example is when Jameson Williams got finned for $25,325 because of an obscene gesture. Sure, what he did wasn’t super appropriate for the NFL, but he doesn’t need a $25 thousand fine for it.

Another thing the NFL is really ridiculous  with is trash talking. Trash talking is a part of the sport. Sure it is not appropriate for the NFL, but it’s not like the fans can hear them talk smack from the stands. So instead of instant penalties or stupid fines, they should just let the players talk their talk because that’s just fuel for the big time players to make crazy plays, which leads to more views and that’s what they need.

The NFL just needs to lay back a bit and let the players play the game and just have fun playing the sport of football. Because the way they are running the league right now is terrible and the NFL might not even be recognizable by 2040. They just need to stick to getting viewers to watch the players play instead of trying to ruin the league.
