Video games are made to have fun. But some people think that they need to be competitive. And other people think that they can just be something to pass time. Personally, I think that video games should not be a sport.

Video games should not be a sport because people are already on technology enough and I think that having it as a sport would make people just want to be on technology more. If people think they are good at a certain game and they end up trying for it as a sport, they just get letdown by not actually winning, then they would not know what to do anymore.

I can see why people want video games to be a sport. They want to get into video games more, or they want them to be a sport because they think that they can make money off of them. Or even be better than all the other players.

These are the reasons why I think that video games should not be a sport. Video games should just stay as a source of enjoyment for people to have in their free time or when they want to just have some fun.
