Throughout years and years of experience, I noticed that my life has been filled with many different genres of music, and I just so happen to come across this South Korean genre called ¨K-Pop¨ which is a very popular genre in many countries including Japan, Thailand, Brazil, etc. This genre is known by many different people.
I first got into this type of music when I was a bit younger with a boy group named BTS also known as Bangtan boys. They were how I got introduced to a wide variety of music and different groups.
When I was introduced to it, it was during COVID, and I wondered if it was just a phase, but after listening and watching many music videos I came to the conclusion that K-Pop is not that bad. It is very rare for someone where I live listening to this type of music, but I believe that some people should give it a chance because some may actually like the melodies, trendy dances, and new languages.
Speaking of language, not all groups are Korean, some may even be Japanese, Thaiwanese, Philippino, etc. Now that I am older I can somewhat tell what they are saying and it piqued my interest into eventually traveling to Korea and sightseeing.
Some groups that I know are Seventeen, StrayKids, Enhypen, TXT, Exo, Blackpink, and so many more that the list could go on forever. I hope to spread some interest to others and I hope the generation grows with a lot more people listening in.
