With summer coming up, people are going to start going on vacations, which normally comes with a long, boring car ride. To cure the boredom, here are the top 10 things to do on a long car ride.

10.  Make a Pinterest board- This is a great option for something to keep you pre occupied for a while. You can make a Pinterest board about almost anything and its super relaxing and fun.

9. Look out the window- This obviously isn’t the most exciting thing to do, but sometimes it can be fun to look at all the cool scenery in an area that you’re not used to.

8. Make a playlist- Similar to #10, making a playlist gives you something to do, and I find it quite therapeutic. Plus, after you make the playlist you can listen to it.

7. Car games- When I was younger my mom always printed off this checklist of things that we could look for on the road. It helped keep us busy and was always fun.

6. Talk to family- A great use of this time would be to spend it with your family. You guys could engage in conversation about what everybody is looking forward to on the trip.

5. Eat snacks-  It is so helpful to bring snacks on a long car ride. Everybody is just always happier when their bellies are full.

4. Would you rather?- This is another super fun game you can play with everyone in the car to pass time.

3. Play on your phone- Games on your phone are always a great option for something to do.

2. Listen to music- I feel like this always makes the car ride go by so fast, and it’s so calming to do.

1. Sleep- Sleeping is the absolute best thing to do in the car. Although sometimes it can be hard to get comfy, it makes time fly.
