In Corry, students are supposed to come to school for exactly 180 days. That stinks, right? People should look into shortening it because I think it is bad for students’ health.
We come to school from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and during that time teachers are jamming knowledge into our brains. It seems like we can’t ever get a break! That’s why I suggest that we should get a couple extra days off throughout the school year.
It can be good for our mental and physical health because students all need a relax day, a day to reset themselves and maybe even get a little more sleep. It can also be good for teachers, as well. They come to school to prepare lessons and teach children, so they are here twice the time the students are. They deserve a day off as well.
I think people can come together and talk about students and teachers having a couple more days off, and students still being able to have all the education they need.
