“Call of the Wild: the Angler” is a single player or multiplayer game made by the same people who created the well-known game, “The Hunter Call of the Wild.”
“The Angler” is an immersive fishing game that comes with one big map for free, or four other maps you have to pay for. The base map that comes with the game has 26 different fish species and a variety of unique lures that you can use.
The maps have an open world experience, so that means that you aren’t limited to trails, or even loading into a pond that you can’t leave like other fishing games.
The game costs only $30 and goes on sale quite often, so you can get the game for a pretty cheap price. I would give the base game a 4/5 rating.
