Moana 2 continues the enchanting journey of Moana as she embarks on a new adventure that explores the depths of her identity and the culture of her island. The voice actors that helped bring this film together include Dwayne Johnson as Maui, and Auli’i Cravalho as Moana. Lin-Manuel Miranda- a very creative and great songwriter-also helped out with some additional voices, which really helped enhance the movie.

The animation is gorgeous, with vibrant colors, beautiful landscapes, and a stunning beach that brings the island of Motunui to life. The animators did an especially great job with the details in the ocean scenes. It shows great dedication and experience on their part. As one may know, Disney is known for its many classic hit songs, so it’s no surprise that Moana 2 showcased some great new music and songs, as well as some favorites from the original movie.

In this film, children of all ages get to watch Moana develop into a leader and protector of her people, which is so inspiring to young, and also older viewers. We get to see a few new characters in this film, which helps differentiate the first movie from this one. Their interactions with Moana provide lessons regarding bravery, and friendship.
