Landon Isaac Hasbrouck was born June 28, 2007, in Corry, Pennsylvania. He grew up around three siblings, Lindsay (18), Lexy (21), and Lucy (15). His favorite hobbies are sports, firefighting, and singing. Landon attends is a junior, and he is a member of the football team, track and field team, and honors choir.
Landon’s job is firefighting and he became one because of his dad and grandfather, who were also firefighters. He dreams one day of becoming a firefighter in a bigger city with more action. He does realize how tragic a fire can be to a family, but Landon loves facing the challenge and being a first responder. A part of his plan is to also enter and serve in the U.S. military.
His favorite quote comes from the Bible and it is Romans 5:13. He one day wants to visit the Eiffel Tower in France and his vision of the perfect vacation is in a big Airbnb with a beach and sunshine.
Hasbrouck loves to be joyful and show up every day with a smile on his face and try to make others’ day better. In fact, Landon compared himself to a golden retriever when I asked him what animal matched his personality and I think it checks out.
Landon loves firefighting and sports but something he can take with him everywhere is his joy for singing. You can catch Landon singing at any time, anywhere. Something that upsets Landon is when a door is half open in our school hallway, as he claims it can get in somebody’s way when walking in a crowd of people.
More people should get to know Landon– he is a great person who is hardworking and passionate about what he does. He is almost never negative and will always have a smile on his face.
