Prison break is a heart-stopping thriller that has a unique blend of action, suspense, and emotion. The show follows the main character, Micheal Scofield, a genius structural engineer who intentionally imprisons himself to break his wrongfully convicted brother, Lincoln Burrows, out of death row. The idea of the show is simple, but the show itself is  anything but simple, with intense action, clever twists, and an emotional aspect.

Micheal is played by Wentworth Miller. Miller delivers an outstanding performance as Micheal, who uses his intelligence and problem solving to develop the show’s plot.  On the other hand, Lincoln is a brute who lets his emotions overwhelm his smarts. The show’s ability to develop characters and introduce new ones, makes it one of a kind. The character “T-Bag”, played by Robert Knepper, is seen as one of the best performances of the decade.

Most viewers claim the first season as the best of the series. The season uses a perfect balance of suspense, action, and emotional aspects as the group plans and enacts their escape. Although the later seasons tend to have stretched plot, they are still a perfect balance of thrill and action. The show uses later seasons to develop characters and deepen the plot.

Overall, Prison Break is a great TV series that delivers a fast-paced action-thriller that is sure to interest many. Prison is a show that is defiantly worth spending time to watch.
