Aubrey May was born on December 21, 2000. She grew up in Sugar Grove with her one older brother attending Eisenhower High School. When she was in high school she played volleyball and also did track. After high school, she attended Mercyhurst University to receive her bachelor’s and master’s degrees.
Some of Ms. May’s hobbies include reading, cooking, baking, spending time with her wonderful pets, watching scary movies, which are her favorite, and being outdoors. In fact, when she gets a little bit older she would like to retire to the mountains and live a life of peace with lots of books, plants, pets, and listening to any song by Alex Warren.
She would love to see Ireland because that is her heritage and she would love to see her ancestors’ history. Also, because she loves the color green as well. The reason for her teaching is because she has always loved to read and she has always wanted to share her love of reading with everyone. Speaking of books, when asking her favorite quote she replied back with “A room without books is like a body without a soul.”
Ms. May is such a comforting teacher who you can share many laughs with at any moment. She is also a family person as well. When she thinks of a dream vacation she imagines herself with her aunt and cousin traveling across the world visiting all of the beautiful places they have ever dreamed of. Her biggest pet peeve would be when her students consistently ask the same question because they didn’t listen when she answered it the first 12 times. I mean who else wouldn’t get annoyed by that?
A piece of advice she would give would be “Wherever you go, whatever you end up doing in life, remember to be a good person first.”
