Have you ever been motivated to do something creative? To draw or craft? I’m sure everyone at some point has. I know for sure that Kristin Daniels is an incredibly creative person. But she is also kind, compassionate, and a hard worker. So today I would like to tell you about my good friend Kristin.
Kristin was born on December 3, 2008. Over the years, she has had a variety of things that she likes to do, but fishing, working on her grandparents’ farm, and doing all kinds of art is what she likes best. Kristin is a middle child of four. She has two older brothers, Kyle and Cameron, and one younger sister, Courtney. Kyle is 26, Cameron is 25, and Courtney is 14. When I asked Kristin what place she would really like to visit and why, she said that she would love to go to Yellowstone National Park to see all the amazing scenery. She even said she may want to visit all of the national parks at some point!
Kristin told me that her favorite movie is “Captain America: The First Avenger,” and her favorite song is “That’s Who I Praise” by Brandon Lake. Her favorite color is light blue and her favorite emotion is excitement. That’s a good one! When asked if she had any plans for any upcoming trips or vacations, Kristin told me that she plans to go to the Outer Banks this summer and then visit her step-sister who lives about an hour away from the Outer Banks.
Quotes are always difficult to pick out, but when I asked Kristin what her favorite quote was, she knew right away. 1 John 3:16 “This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters.” That is a very powerful verse– Great choice!
Kristin told me that an animal that would represent her would probably be a Golden Doodle. She has two Golden Doodles and she just loves their fun personalities. Kristin explained that her idea of a perfect vacation would be somewhere very peaceful and fun, and of course she had to have her friends and family there. Her idea of a perfect date would be doing lots of different activities. She loves being hands on and creative, so perhaps pottery painting? That sounds pretty fun. Over the years, Kristin has had many different classes and teachers, but her favorite class she ever took is Mr. Buona’s History class, and I would have to agree with her on that.
Kristin made it very clear that her favorite food was corn on the cob. She said it just hits differently when you eat it during the summer, and I couldn’t agree more. This year, Kristin is starting track and field, and is going to throw javelin. You go, girl!
I asked Kristin what her biggest pet peeve was and she explained that “pick-me” people drove her crazy. She just couldn’t stand them!
As the interview came to a close, I asked Kristin if she had any words of wisdom for the readers, and she said, “Be faithful and trust in the Lord.”
