Today is the first ever three-hour delay for the Corry Area School District. They called a three-hour delay because of the cold temperatures and the wind chill. It was in the negatives this morning and too cold to be out in. The reason they called a three-hour delay instead of canceling is because by 11 a.m. it was supposed to be warm enough to travel.
Some of the buses had trouble starting because of the cold weather and a lot of students didn’t even show up.
The classes are all about 20 minutes long today. The middle-high school started a 11:30 a.m. and will end at the normal time of 3 p.m.
