On Monday the girl’s basketball team celebrated their four seniors: #1 Halle Albers, #2 Reagan Porter, #3 Kaygen Rogers, and #25 Sadye Dyne.
The girls went against the Fort Leboeuf Bison and secured another win. The starting lineup for Bison was #1 Haylee Ober, #20 Jacey Blood, #5 Maggie Lemock, #14 Morgan Johnson, and #33 Madison Wehler. The beavers were #22 Grace Allen, #1 Halle Albers, #2 Reagan Porter, #3 Kaygen Rogers, and #25 Sadye Dyne.
To kick off, the Beavers won the tip-off, and the first points of the game were made by the Bison with a three-pointer by Wehler. The Beavers very quickly struck back with a layup by Dyne. Heading into halftime, the Beavers are leading beavebison started to gain a rhythm going into the second half of the game. They shortened the gap with the ending score of the third quarter being 31-26, beaverthe Beavers in the lead, though. The lady beavers pulled through until the end keend,ng up a solid performance. The game’s ending score was 40-28 40-28,rwith the Beaversing yet another win.
The girl’s next game is this Thursday away against Fairview. JV is at 6 p.m., and varsity is to follow at 7:30 p.m.
