On Friday December 13 and Saturday December 14, the Corry boys wrestling team went down to Mount Aloysius College for a tournament. Corry placed 5th out of 52 teams in the tournament. The Corry Beavers had 13 total players wrestle over the course of the tournament.
The team that won it all was Hill School, which is in Pottstown, PA. Many of the players won at least a match and some even more. Corry scored a total of 138.5 points and was 21.5 points behind first place.
Mason Savitz made it to the championship finals, but fell short 7-2. Will Allen Placed 5th by beating his opponent 4-0. Cody Proper and Kael Albers both placed 7th by winning over there opponent. This was the Beavers first tournament this season, and they have one the 27 and 28 of December at Southmoreland High School.
