The 2024 Heisman has officially been picked, but first let’s look at all of the Heisman candidates.
We’ll starting with Miami’s star quarterback Cam Ward. Ward put up some impressive stats with 4,123 passing yards, 36 touchdowns, and 7 interceptions.
The second candidate is Dillon Gabrial, he was Oregon’s quarterback this season and he had 3,558 passing yards, 28 touchdowns, and 6 interceptions.
The third candidate is the Colorado Buffaloes star two-way player Travis Hunter. Hunter’s offensive stats this season were 92 receptions for 1,152 yards and 14 touchdowns. On defense Travis had 20 tackles, 1 forced fumble, and 4 interceptions.
Our final candidate is Boise State’s star running back Ashton Jeanty, Ashton stats on the 2024 season were 334 carries, 2,497 rushing yards, and 29 touchdowns.
This season was the closest in voting since 2009, Ashton Jeanty had a total of 2,017 and Travis Hunter had a total of 2,231 votes.
