Are you a music expert!? Well then this is the game for you. I have compiled 15 awesome songs from the 1980s and organized them into three categories from most popular to least popular. For each song you know, you get points added to your score. The easy level has 15 points per song you know, the medium level has 30 points per song, and the hard level has 45 points each song. Break out the calculators and add up your score!
Traditionally the game is more fun if you go by the songs you know by name; but if you come across a song you think you know but aren’t one hundred percent sure, you are allowed to listen to it online. If it sounds slightly familiar but you still can’t say you know it, guess what!? NO POINTS FOR YOU! And also, no cheating! Be honest! All right, let’s play!
Easy Level (15 points each)
“Just like Heaven”- The Cure
“Little Lies” – Fleetwood Mac
“Out of Touch” – Hall and Oates
“Jump” – The Pointer Sisters
“These Dreams” – Heart
Medium Level (30 points each)
“It’s my Life” – Talk Talk
“Circle in the Sand’ – Belinda Carlisle
“Foolish Heart” – Steve Perry
“Only The Lonely” – The Motels
“I Found Someone” – Cher
Expert Level (45 points each)
“Voices Carry” – ‘Til Tuesday
“Edge Of A Broken Heart” – Vixen
“Touch in the Night” – Silent Circle
“You’re a Woman” – Bad Boys Blue
“Waiting for a Star to Fall” – Boy Meets Girl
The results are in! Now let’s analyze the scores. If you got a score between:
0 – 45: Well… you FAILED!
46 – 105: Hey, not bad! You listen to some good music.
106 – 150: This is the (estimated) average score range for people! You are pretty familiar with the decade. Nice!
151 – 210: You smell like hairspray.
211 – 360: Hey, nice pastel spandex dude!
361 – 450: Still rocking the mullet forty years later? Congrats, you got an A+.
Thanks for playing!
