On Monday, December 16, the Corry girl’s basketball team hit the court. Playing against the Erie Royals, these girls were locked in and ready to show off their skills.
Our junior varsity team, put up a strong fight, but lost by one point to the Royals. After already winning one game, the Royals were feeling confident and not planning on letting the Corry varsity team take them down.
The varsity Beavers made their way onto the court. The girls in each team got into positions, and the game began. After about an hour of playing, it was clear who the winner was. The Royals, scoring a total of 53 points, went home cheering, and the Beavers, scoring a total of 31, sadly were not as cheerful. However, this was a great learning opportunity for the girls.
