On Sunday, the Eagles played the Steelers at the Eagles’ home stadium, Lincoln Financial Field. This game has been an anticipated game of the two Pennsylvanian teams, with the Eagles already having 11-2 record compared to Steelers 10-3, with high expectations that the Eagles were already going to win.
Steelers started with the ball, the game being announced by seven-time Super Bowl Champion Tom Brady, Kevin Burkhardt (Play-by-Play), and Erin Andrews as sideline reporter.
The first quarter started a little bad for the Eagles, having two turnovers, yet they managed to make the first goal, making a field goal, up by three. Though on the Steelers next play, they also managed to get a field goal, tying the game at 3-3. The Eagles’ stats were up for running and passing yards compared to the Steelers.
A comment by an over-viewer was really funny when Steeler’s Darell Washington got into an altercation with an Eagles player by pushing him back into the barricades, “He’s got the little guy, he’s got him on skates.” Eagle A.J. Brown made the first touchdown, following with an accurate kick, upping the score to 10-3, Eagles.
The second quarter almost immediately started with the Eagles getting a touchdown (Devonta Smith) and kick, turning the score to 17-3. The Steelers started making a comeback with Paul Freiermuth making a touchdown and Chris Boswell.
During the third quarter Steelers started to slip again with a heavy cost of a fumble, Eagles taking the ball. No touchdown was made during the third quarter, but Eagle’s Jake Elliott made a 42-yard field goal, making the score 20-13.
Similar to the third quarter, the fourth quarter was just the same, Eagle’s Quarterback, Jalen Hurts made a touchdown, and Jake Elliott made a kick, ending the game with 27-13. Eagles winning 10 consecutive games in a row, meaning if they win one more game, they can clinch the NFC.
The Eagles are now gearing up for their game against the Commanders, along with the Steelers for their Baltimore Ravens game.
