Cars is a classic childhood movie, it is one movie that almost everyone has seen at least once. Personally, it is one of my favorites, so I decided to make a list of my top 10 favorite Cars characters.
10. Sheriff- Sheriff was a huge main character in Cars and also played a huge supporting character in Cars 2 and 3. Personally, I disliked him in the first movie because he tried to put McQueen in jail.
9. Chick Hicks- He was an antagonist in the first movie but his confidence is pretty unique. Overall I dislike him as a character because he is cocky, but he is entertaining.
8. Ramone- He is a main character and has an auto-bodied dealership in Radiator Springs. He doesn’t have a huge role in the series and doesn’t have many major scenes. I like his character though, he is a laid back auto-body shop owner.
7. FLo- FLo owns a cafe called Flo’s Cafe in Radiator Springs. She is also married to Ramone. Like with Ramone, she just doesn’t have many major scenes. She is in my top ten though because I think her sass is hilarious.
6. Darrell Cartrip- Darrell is a retired multi-cup champion that announces the races. He is an entertaining announcer, he makes the race feel almost real. Darrel is by far the greatest announcer in Cars history.
5. Fillmore- Fillmore is just a funny character, he has no cares in the world and loves his hometown of Radiator Spring. He may not be seen a lot through the movie series but when he does show up it’s always a great scene.
4. Mack- Mack is just all around a great character. He takes McQueen everywhere, he is very reliable and has a lot of love for Mcqueen. It was never his fault that Mcqueen fell out of his trailer, so I love this character.
3. Doc Hudson- I mean he deserves to be on the list. He is an absolute legend when it comes to the cup series. Has so much knowledge and information to give to Mcqueen. I liked that duo when it came to racing.
2. Mater- Another great character. He is funny and is Mcqueen’s best friend. He was hilarious when he was in Cars 2 and to me was the funniest character in that movie. He is all around a great character and I love his loyalty to Mcqueen.
1. Lightning Mcqueen- Hands down favorite character, he has confidence and is the greatest racer of all time. He will forever be an icon that everyone loves and knows. McQueen is the best racer of all time.
