Elijah Krystof Silvia, better known by the pen name “Blaze,” was born on May 17, 2011. Eli is an eighth grader growing up alongside his two sisters, Azairah (18) and Kaygen (7). Eli grew up in Corry, but moved to Columbus five years ago.

When I asked him about his hobbies, his only reply was “Gaming.” I then asked him about some of his favorite things. For his favorite movie, he replied with “Jurassic Park: Fallen Kingdom,” his favorite food is “Chicken flavored Ramen,” his favorite song being “My Bad” by Moxas along with his favorite book being “The Hunger Games.” I finished by asking him what his favorite class was, that being “Gym, because it’s actually fun.”

His ideal vacation spot and also a place he wants to travel to is Japan, because he feels the entire city was cool and different from most places. If he were to match his personality to an animal, he’d say a wolf, for he is always a leader, but can also be a little childish at times. His biggest pet peeve would be none other than his younger sister.

I asked some questions about his future, starting with what he plans on doing after high school, he answered “working for [this reporter’s] company, TryHardGamingIncorporated.” He also stated that if he’d go to college, he’d attend University of Central Florida (UCF).

His two favorite quotes (by the Joker) are, “A man with nothing to fear is a man with nothing to love,” and,  “As you know, madness is like gravity: All it takes is a little push.”

Eli finished off with giving this advice, “Don’t make dumb decisions, they will cause a lifetime of damage.”
