Record
– Current Record: The Steelers are 8-3 , in the mix for the number 1 playoff spot, though they have been inconsistent in terms of dominating games in the past, this year is different. Their ability to win close contests has kept them competitive in the AFC.
Offense
-Quarterback Play: Russel Wilson, in his 13th year , has shown flashes of his days in Seattle, but struggled last week against the Browns making some people question his play. His ability to make timely plays has been an asset along side with his famous deep ball, but sometimes he doesn’t make the best decisions.
Najee Harris has had an off and on season but overall pretty good. He is 12th in the league for rushing. It is hard for him to produce for the team with a spotty offensive line.
The receiving core, led by George Pickens, has been pretty productive. Pickens is 6th in the league in receiving yards.
Defense
– The Steelers’ defense, led by T.J. Watt, has been one of the strongest in the league. They continue to excel in pressure situations, with Watt leading the team in sacks and Donte Jackson leading in interceptions. The secondary, led by Minkah Fitzpatrick, has also been strong, and the defense has won the game for them many times.
Coaching
– Coach Mike Tomlin remains at the head coach spot, and his team has been dominant, he continues to find ways to keep them in the running for the number one seed for the playoffs. His leadership and ability to adjust in the second half are unmatched.
