Allison wishes to be free. Free like the birds. She wishes she could fly and feel the delicate wind glide along her skin. However, as a princess she was forbidden to leave the palace. But one day she decided she had enough, she was going to escape if it was the last thing she did.

She was in her room when she gazed  at the only place she could view the outside world, her window. She leans on her windowsill and envies the people who are living freely in the beautiful world.

Allison has always had a difficult relationship with her parents. Her parents were increasingly cold towards her ever since her older sister Bianca was kidnapped while strolling near the town. After the tragedy they just locked her in her room. Allison couldn’t blame them though; that day was terribly sad for her, also. However, Allison wishes to see the world instead of hiding from it , and this is one way that her and her parents differed.

Even before Bianca was kidnapped her mother and father treated her as if she was a servant who they gave no concern to. After Bianca was kidnapped her parents missed her terribly and continuously compared Princess Allison to her. They always said they wish Allison was taken  instead of her. The constant hatred from her parents had hurt Allison deeply.

Bianca and Allison were always really close. Bianca treated Allison with love and practically raised her. As she clutches the rope she had been hiding in her closet she takes a deep breath deciding if she should really go through with her plan. She then looks at the picture of her family when they were all together. Tears form in her eyes and she sniffles. She looks out the window again and nods with determination. She decides she has to go.

She carefully attaches the rope to her heavy dresser near the window and pulls it to feel its sturdiness. As it passes her test she packs a small bag, she puts it on her shoulder and grips the rope. She climbs down the thick rope trying not to slip. Being as careful as can be, she makes it to the ground with no harm.

Allison was keeping this a secret from everyone because  many disapproved, but she was going to find her sister. She started her journey into the Forbidden Woods. She was terrified but her ambition overpowered her fear.

As she was halfway into the woods she noticed a suspicious looking cottage. She stepped warily to the tiny building and carefully peeked into a window. As she looked in she saw her sister Bianca looking healthy as ever. She was practically glowing. Allison felt warms tears fall down her face and she ran to the door as quickly as possible. She rapidly opened the door and hugged her sister as tight as she could.

Bianca was just as shocked as Allison. They both shared a heartwarming embrace with them both shedding tears of joy. After a while they both calmed down and Allison and Bianca sat down for a glass of tea just like the old times.

As both they both relax Bianca told Allison that she staged her own kidnapping in order to get away from the constant stress of the royal life. Allison felt a little hurt that her sister left her with her horrible parents but nodded in acknowledgement because she completely understood. After the long talk of catching up on each other’s lives, Bianca invites Allison to stay with her in her comfy cottage. From then on they lived happily ever after.
