Mr. Soprano is a math teacher here at Corry High. He teaches Algebra 1 along with many other math classes. Mr. Soprano grew up in Athens, Pennsylvania, and attended Athens High School. He later went to Penn State Behrend to fulfill his math teaching requirements.
Some of Soprano’s hobbies are golfing, walking his dog, and playing with his adorable two year old little boy.
I asked Mr. Soprano why he got into teaching and he replied with, “I wanted to be around people all day, and interact with people.” He didn’t want to be stuck in some smelly, boring office. I mean, who would?
Mr. Soprano would like to travel out West someday. I personally think he just secretly wants to be a cowboy, and say “yee haw!” every once in a while. Soprano’s favorite movie is “Liar Liar,” but I know he also really likes the movie “Moana,” as well.
His favorite color is blue, and he likes to listen to sports streams. His favorite quote is “It ain’t over, until its over” by Yogi Berra.
Mr. Soprano’s favorite food is spaghetti, and he tells me that he loved it when his grandma would make it for him. Who doesn’t like a meal cooked by their grandma?
One of Mr. Sopranos biggest pet peeves is when you are sitting at a 4-way stop and the person that is supposed to go waves everyone on. Mr. Soprano has a fear of drowning, so if anyone is interested in teaching him to swim and not drown, go see him.
Soprano’s advice to people reading this is “surround yourself with good people.”
