Maddie Gustafson is a senior who was born on March 29, 2007, and raised in Corry with her brother.
When I asked her what she wanted to do in the future, she mentioned she didn’t know what college but wants to do something in teaching. To go along with the topic of school, her favorite class is cosmetology because she likes to do hair.
To move off the topic of school and to go into her more personally she was very open to tell me that her favorite songs are anything by Taylor Swift. Throughout our conversation she seemed like a very fun and nice person, a very kind soul. So I asked her what her favorite color is and she told me pink, which in my opinion is a very good color. Also that her favorite movie is “10 Things I Hate About You.”
A fun fact about Maddie: she told me that a dog would match her personality. On the topic of animals she has two dogs, and a cat. When I asked her what her favorite food is she told me chicken in rice, but not to be confused with cheesy chicken and rice.
Maddie is in varsity cheer and she has been doing it for 11 years. Since she has been doing it for so many years I wanted to ask her what made her join, and she mentioned that when she was little her mom signed her up, she enjoyed, and stuck with it.
Maddie has upcoming vacation plans to go to Hawaii because she made All American Cheer. When we were having a conversation about traveling she told me that if she could go anywhere she would go to Bora Bora. When we looked up a picture it looked like a very pretty place to go. She would also love to go to the beach to go swimming in the ocean.
To wrap up this interview I asked her two last questions. We all have a pet peeve and when I asked her what hers is, she responded by saying, “When people walk slow.”
My final question was what piece of advice she would give to her readers and she responded with, “Let it go.’’
