Mr. Adamski is an English teacher here at Corry Area High. He teaches 9th grade English and 11th grade honors. Adamski grew up in his hometown Edinboro, PA. He attended General McLane High School and went to college at Edinboro University. He received a degree in geography and mastered in education. When asked what some of his hobbies/interest are, he replied with hunting, boating, golfing, and reading, obviously.
I asked Mr. Adamski why he chose the job that he did and he told me that he likes helping people, so helping students prepare for the future seemed like a good fit. Adamski tells me that he would like to visit Europe some day because there is a lot of historical places to visit. His favorite TV show is ” Ted Lasso.” His plans for his upcoming vacation days are to spend time with his family.
Mr. Adamski’s favorite quotation is, “You forget what you want to remember, and you remember what you want to forget,” by Cormac McCarthy from his novel “The Road.” Adamski claims that the animal he would match his personality to is a deer.
He dreams of going to the beach, because he wants a little tan. Mr. Adamski also tells me that his favorite food is a big ol’ fat, juicy cheeseburger. His biggest pet peeve is when he has to repeat himself, but I personally think he just needs to talk a little bit louder. And last but not least, his biggest advice to give to his readers is, “Do the best you can with what you have.”
